My dear friend (and management client) Holcombe Waller performing his haunting song “Into the Dark Unknown” on the foot of our bed for a handful of tiny concert goers during SXSW. It was nice to have a little quiet above the chaos. The view out the window was of the tops of tall old buildings, which oddly, is something you never notice when you are on the ground and in the fray of the festival. All 3 artists that played our room used them as muses to their performance. As I so often do in my photography. So lovely. Shot on location in Room 704, Friday March 18, 2011 by yours truly.

Just posted a pile of sweet little video clips I shot of our SXSW Bed-In showcases this past weekend in Room 704 at the Driskill Hotel. Such a great way to forget about the chaos. Follow the link and watch more by Jenny O. and Alessi’s Ark. Or maybe I’ll post ‘em! Swoon.
